Shoulder Pain

Shoulder pain – The shoulder is a complex joint that allows lots of movement to the expense of stability. Therefore, there are two main problems. Impingement, things getting pinched in the joint and Stability, where the top of the arm bone, called the humerus, rattles around too much. To some extent you always get one with the other. Other problems of the shoulder include labral tears (otherwise known as a SLAP lesion), bursitis (inflammation of a small sack of fluid around the shoulder, the bursa act to reduce friction between structures in the body). There are many other causes of shoulder pain that I can’t even briefly list here. Come in and we will pin it down and treat it effectively.
